Why "las" is omitted?

When asked "¿puedo hacerle algunas preguntas?", the right answer given is " Claro. Lo puede hacer ahora mismo". It seems ought to be "Lo las puede hacer ahora mismo". Why the "las" is omitted?

Lo puede hacer ahora mismo. - You can do IT (the asking) now.
Las puede hacer ahora mismo - You can do THEM (the questions) now. But you wouldn't say it that way, you would say "LAS puede preguntar ahora mismo".
Nope, can't use them together in this sentence.

Correction: Yes, you can say "las puede hacer ahora mismo," since based in context, it has been established that "las" refers to "preguntas".
No preguntas una pregunta, sino que la haces.
