Stringing together 'verb + prep + infinitive'

Question

I was thinking about how to formulate the expression "We are going to have to go through..." in Spanish, and the following came about:

Vamos a tener que pasar por...

Is it OK in Spanish to string together 'verb + prep + infinitive' rules like this? (Here I had to string together ir a + inf., and tener que + inf.)

Have a look at Lista de perífrasis verbales.

You'll see, you will have to use loads of infinitives following one another.

Your question isn't so much about verbs and prepositions as it is about chaining together periphrastic contructions. Yes you can, and the latter ones are in the infinitive as you used in your example.
