How do I ask some one "When will he/she be home?"

When I call and ask for some one, they usually say, "Ya no se encuentra" which I understand.. but how do I ask when will he or she be home?
I've been saying "Y cuando regresa el/ella?" But I'm not sure if thats correct, or most commonly used. Thanks!

Your question "¿Cuándo regresa?" is perfectly acceptable. I would probably ask "A qué hora vuelve?" or to be polite, "¿Me puede decir a qué hora va a estar en casa?"
