What closing salutation do you use in a letter to a loved one?

"Cariños" works too.

"Saludos" is a bit more formal - probably not for a letter to a loved one but good for reference.

I did a workbook page once, and it was a letter. It "signed off" saying "Abrazos y besos" (translations: hugs and kisses, xoxo)
