Gesticulation.
Is it considered rude to gesture with frequency while attempting to speak to Spanish natives. If you are just learning the language I know gestures can help.I don't mean waving your arms about senselessly,but pointing at the listener or objects frequently.I don't want to sour any potential opportunities to converse with others.Thank you in advance if you have an opinon you would like to share.

Speaking with the hands in motion is so very typical in México, I have no idea how we could speak with our hands in our pockets.
I think that most other cultures would understand and be accepting of you pointing if you are trying to learn the language and you just can't find the words. If you are a hand-talker, or a frequent toucher, you might want to learn about the culture you are going to before employing your native traits in a professional scenario. Some of these common Estados Unidos traits are offensive outside of the states.
