Spanish immersion during September and for dos meses. At an intermediate level now, but with native speakers to talk too and intense instructions I hope I will greatly improve before the 2 months are up. Has anyone completed a program in or near that area of Mexico?

Tithonia,

Recently when I was in México I stayed in Puebla for a day or two - it wasn't near long enough of course. A grand old city - beautiful historic buildings - lots of great places to eat - and yes, the same could probably be said about many places in México - but Puebla sticks out as being very special. And you're there for two months? You're a lucky duck smile

I also remember Puebla as it was the one time in México I had to see a doctor. I was gobsmacked at how inexpensive it was (yes, for me, coming from the "west"...)

You are going to have entirely too much fun! I live in México so I cannot speak to an immersion experience there. But I can tell you this. Puebla is colonial and historical, you will encounter classical music outside of your restaurants patio. You will need the entire time you are there to understand the significance of Puebla in Spanish and Mexican history. Go relax and enjoy a wonderful experience!
