Lo que ves es lo que ....1st) what is the best verb?
lograr, obtener, coger?
2nd) do we use the conditional tense? Conditional based on what you see.
I've heard, Ponlo listo for get ready. Does poner work?
maybe pillar?

Context?
In computer jargon I believe people say "Lo que ves es lo que tienes/obtienes", but in other contexts people say things like "Esto/eso es lo que hay", "Tienes lo que ves", and many other variants.

I envision the context as perhaps an amorous woman making the statement to her date after a wonderful dinner.
Or maybe something the Navy cook might say as you stand in the chow line staring at the pitiful food.
