Excusas para no haber hecho los deberes

Buenos días,

estoy buscando excusas comunes del mundo hispanohablante para no haber hecho los deberes. La única que conzco hasta ahora es el perro se comió mis deberes . Esta fue usado excesivamente por Bart Simpson y otros, y ya no parece convincente. ¿Tenéis otras que podrían convencer a una profesora española?

Y no os preocupéis, suelo hacer mis deberes de español. Solo estoy preguntando por si acaso

There are dozens of sites covering this topic in English (see capture), but I think that you have posed an excellent question. I am anticipating seeing if the differences in cultures effect the excuses or whether the English dog just becomes a Spanish perro.
