Ordering tap water in resteraunt?

Every time I go into a cafe in Barcelona and ask for water they always end up giving me bottled water. what is the best way to ask for tap water?

I wouldnt have thought it advisable to drink tap water over there - its not like here in England where the tap water is actually better to drink than the bottled

I wouldn't drink the tap water in Barcelona, not because of any health issues but because it tastes horrible, full of chlorine Yuck.
