Is this the best way to say : the 80s ??????????????? If another I would like to know how to say,, the seventie or sixties,, etc..

It should be: los noventa / los ochenta / los setenta / los sesenta / los cincuenta / los cuarenta / los treinta / los veinte.
Ejemplo: Los años veinte, la década de los ochenta (as you proposed)
Do not use plural: los ochentas is incorrect.
