It's one of those little kid jokes where you hand the note, which is intentionally dumb, to someone who sincerely tries to figure it out, and when s/he says reads aloud "I am stupid" the kid playing the joke thinks it's hilarious. "Ha ha,I made you say you're stupid." I remember one of these that was written in fake Latin.
