Question

I would greatly appreciate if someone could please take a look at these sentences.

1. Hemos comido pizza todos los días esta semana. We have eaten pizza every day this week.
2. Has bailado en ocho espectáculos. You have danced in 8 performances.
3. Viviría en este barrio, pero mi escuela está demasiado lejos de allí. I would live in this neighborhood, but my school is too far away from there.
4. Les hablaríamos a ellos, pero están hablandole a su madre. We would talk to them, but they are talking to their mother.
5. ¿Querrían comida? No, ya hemos comido. Would you all like food? No, we have eaten already.

Les hablaríamos a ellos, pero están hablandole a su madre.

Harblaríamos a ellos, pero están hablando a su madre.

These appear to be direct objects, not indirect objects.

(and the Spanish leísmo is normally used with single, males)

Hey Sonrisa,

In the last sentence, it seems like you might be asking if the food is good, ie, "is food pleasing to you? I think if you want to ask folks if they want to eat it is better to just say, "Qieren comida?"

I just learned how to show obligation with the present perfect.

Tengo que trabajar - I have to work.

He tenido que trabajar - I have had to work.

Probably pretty obvious to a Spanish speaker... but it's cool when a lightbulb goes on.
