To add a word of warning to Quentin's response; ignore the slow (syllable by syllable) pronunciation given by the speaker and focus on the pronunciation of the word in context (the quality of the 'g' changes).
Without special training/effort, it is very difficult to speak slowly without distorting the sounds.The recorded speakers are all native speakers of Spanish and their pronunciation is, usually, quite reliable.
