In Spain the expresion that we use is only "Escríbeme" (Write me)for e-mail or letter. For SMS "mandame un mensaje".

If you want someone out of the many people you are addressing to text you then say, "que alguien me mande un mensaje de texto" or if you are speaking to someone specifically, you can say "mándame un mensaje de texto."
