You could say:

''¿Qué hay?'' = ''What's the matter?''

(I think this idiom/expression is used more in the north than the south of Spain)

''¿Cuál es el problema?'' = ''What is the problem?''

''¿'Qué pasa?'' = ''What's wrong? / ''What's the matter?''

You could even say:'' Lo siento si te he molestado'' = ''I'm sorry if I have upset you''

There maybe even better ways of expressing this so I would encourage you to wait for some native or advanced speakers to post responses. wink smile grin

Corregid mi español, por favor grin

¿Qué te pica? = What's bothering you?

¿Qué te molesta? = What is bothering you?

¿Qué tienes en mente? = What is on your mind?

¿Cómo te sientes? = How do you feel?

Algo está volviéndote loco/ sacándote de quicio. ¿Qué es? = Something is driving you crazy. What is it?

¿Por qué tienes malas pulgas hoy? = Why are you so irritated/ cranky today?

I have a lot more if you want me to add some. wink

I hope this helps cheese

I like ¿Qué te molesta? = What is bothering you? Are any of them rude, Guitar or likely to upset someone even more who is already angry? - FELIZ77, Jul 1, 2011
Probably the last one. Calling someone "cranky" would invite them to respond yelling "I'm not cranky!" :) - GuitarWarrior, Jul 1, 2011
Other than that, I'm not really sure. I hope someone comes soon to correct me, that's the best I can do! ;) - GuitarWarrior, Jul 1, 2011
Thank you Guitar :) If my response is also good would you please give me a vote ::) - FELIZ77, Jul 1, 2011

Eres loco isn´t ok, is Estas loco! - Driker, Jul 1, 2011
But wouldn't "crazy" be a part of one's personality? - SonrisaDelSol, Jul 1, 2011
I'm no expert, but from what I understand... both are right but mean different things. "Eres" would mean the person is truly crazy in general, "estas" means they're being crazy right now - Cyradis, Jul 1, 2011
Good explanation, Cyradis. That makes sense. Thanks :D - SonrisaDelSol, Jul 1, 2011
