Flashcards in other languages
Is it ok to make flashcards in an other language and make it available for everyone to see? Or does it have to be in English?
Edit: I think I'll just make them like this: English/Dutch -> Spanish. It's a little more time-consuming, but this way other people can use them and I get to practise both of the languages.

It looks like you labeled them as being in Dutch, so I think that if anyone found them they would not open more than one before being able to figure it out. I haven't seen any rules, and I have seen cards in other languages, including (I think, but it has been a while) Korean and Turkish. I have also seen cards with English biological terms on one side and their definitions (in English) on the other, so I think people have gotten away with almost anything. I open enough sets that are so badly made that I can't do them, that finding Dutch can't be any worse.
Edit to add: And other Dutch speakers might like to be able to search the term "Dutch" and find a number of premade sets. Even though some members might say this is an English-Spanish learning site.
As a native Dutch speaker, I would most certainly be interested. I would also be willing to help to create themed sets of cards and to assure the accuracy of other people's Dutch-Spanish flashcards.
I've already created several sets of English-Spanish flashcards for my own learning, the Vocabulary Training Session series, and I've always tried to be as accurate as possible in them.

No one is assuring the correctness of the English-Spanish cards and there are some very incorrect ones out there, so the argument that the Dutch-English ones cannot be evaluated by anyone here is specious. We have discussed before that no one has time to correct the huge number of flashcards that are created every day.
Any set that is made private is purely for the private use of the creator, and can't even be seen by anyone else. The question was whether she could choose to share ones that are in Dutch and Spanish only. I would guess that there is unlikely to be a Spanish-Dutch site that is as robust as this site just based on the number of people likely to utilize such a site.
She is communicating with us in English, she is not trying to change this into a Dutch-Spanish site, she is just asking if she can share some flashcard sets for use by other Dutch speakers. Since they are labelled as being in Dutch, and since half the English-Spanish flashcard sets I open are so bad as to be impossible to do (even though some that I do do have significant errors that I have to keep in mind while I am doing them), I do not see how having them here causes any serious harm to anyone.
I would also note that she has now started doing English-Dutch to Spanish cards, of which I did a couple and thought they were of good quality. I still think she should be allowed to make Dutch-Spanish cards, and anyone who won't benefit can just ignore them. They are much less annoying than the horrible sets that we let semi-literate American teenagers share.
I've always considered the flashcards to be more or less personal property, and the feature as one of the benefits of belonging to SpanishDict. I do think one column should be Spanish, and we've always said we're also an English learning site, so it usually makes sense for the other side to be English. But if they're for your own personal use I don't know why DutchSpanish would be a problem.
You can create flashcards in Spanish or English here. If you were wanting to create flashcards in any other languages than those I have just mentioned you would have to check this with Heidi or or one of the others on the admin team to obtain their permission .
I think that it is highly unlikely they would give you their consent since we do not have sufficient expertise on this site for other languages in the form of natives who can check whether any sets of flashcards are completely correct . Neither is there any guarantee for the creator of such flashcards that there would be much demand for cards in some languages alhough from what I have seen of people's responses there might be some demand for Italian, French and Chinese.
Finally, this is called SpanishDict for a good reason I am certain that the creator/s of this site primarily intended this to be a quality site for learning Spanish and English. I believe that SpanishDict already has an excellent reputation for what it offers and there are no plans to diversify or expand the scope of what is offers.. It is, I think it is unique in this respect as most sites offer mulitiple languages.

Are you referring to the flashcards this site creates? If so, I do not think it offers other languages. If you can link to other flashcards, I do not see a problem with that... as long as there is nothing foul or obscene in them.

I am sorry if I came across rudely .. it was not intended. I was not suggesting for one minute that you youself would intentionally put mistakes in your flashcards but none of us are perfect and so there is therefore always the potential for human error. We would, whoever we were need to have our flashcards checked by one of the team or another native Dutch speaker like yourself who could be asked by the admin team to check through the flashcard set to correct mistakes and so ensure accuracy of information remains constant.
I am not awre of any other native speakers on SpanishDict who know sufficient Dutch who could undertake this task although I would, personally, be in favour of having thees cards provided that agreeing to this would not open a floodgate of many other people asking for permission to do so since SpanishDict's unique character and reputation lies in its committement to the Spanish and English langauges.
We should value other world languages here and many many people already speak suat least two languages such as Samdie, Heidi, Lazarus, Debs the ModYouw ill have to see what Heidi and the admin team think of your suggestion 
The cards on this site are designed to have aural exercises. The card will speak the Spanish word. When you set the site language (link in upper-right corner "En español") the card speaks the opposite word (i.e., English).
And of course, the text-to-speech generator on this site will follow Spanish and English phonetics only, so it would read Dutch words in a strong Spanish accent.
