"Say Cheese!"

"Say Cheese!"

A lot of times when taking a picture a person will tell the people in the picture (usually children) to "say cheese" and they will promptly say "CHEEESSEE". Is there an equivalent in Spanish? Somehow I don't think it would be "Di queso" jeje.

Well, at the resort I go to in Mexico, they always use "Tequila"- but that may simply be because it seems to be the only word they think English speakers know, or because it is an adults only resort and many people seem to go there primarily to drink.

I'm guessing this is the Playa Del Carmen resort because I heard the same thing all last week. :) - Nicole-B, Jun 30, 2011
It's not only a way to make people smile, but also cheap advertisement to encourage us to buy one of their most famous souvenirs. - Nicole-B, Jun 30, 2011
That would be the resort. - Stadt, Jun 30, 2011
