The "H" in Spanish is silent. Also, vowels are very short and crisp. Therefore, "he" is pronounced more like "eh".

Correct.:) That's why in Me he sentido mal, the "he" is almost negligible when spoken, sounding like "Meé sentido mal." - Deanski, Jun 29, 2011
I see what you mean, but I chuckled a little bit because "meé" is the 1st person preterit of "mear" :-D - gintar77, Jun 29, 2011
Jajaja, I definitely didn't have that in mind! I guess that comment is better spoken than written.:) - Deanski, Jul 1, 2011

Spanish is very systematic:

h - The Spanish "h" is silent; ignore it as if it wasn't there, like "h" in "hour" or "heir".

e - it sounds like a Spanish "e". When pronouncing the word "eh" in English, the tongue glides from one position to another, starting with one sound which gradually changes, ending up with another, like a bow moving over the strings of violin. Stopping the glide and stick to a fix position, like a single key in a piano, and you'll get the Spanish "e".

The "h" is silent, so it sounds like "ay", rhyming with 'hay". wink
