What is the correct Spanish translation for the English Phrase from Psychology "inner child"?

I would have said, from my reserach : ''el niño interior''= The hidden child

I knew the word for child lol but was not sure of the exact word that psychologists would use for inner/internal so rather than offer/give my best guess I did a littel research and came up with similar result to Dakie

''Tu niño interior'' = Your hidden child would, of course be better
