Los radares de control de velocidad...

Las trampas de velocidad...

Are either of the above a good choice? Does your country use a different phrase? Gracias.

Radar de control de velocidad está bien!

I know this is what our dictionary says, but it doesn't sound right to me. To me, radar de control de velocidad is an apparatus often called a "radar gun".

This does not convey the meaning of "speed trap", which is an area where the speed limit changes abruptly and police often sit pointing their radar guns at cars to catch speeders. That being the case, I would call this una zona de control de velocidad or una trampa de velocidad.
