"Un juez de pronuncio a"

I don't understand the use of "de" in this phrase:
"Un juez **de** pronuncio a Juan Garcia, 37, Raul Mendoza, 63."[sic]
Should it be "pronunció"? I believe it means "A judge pronounced,,,"
Why the "de"?

"Un juez de pronuncio a" This phrase not exist in Spanish,
should be "Un juez se pronunció"
