What should I say in a tearoom?
hi there.
May you please model a dialogue in a tearoom?
Because restaurant-related dialogues can simply be found on the net. But i failed to find one about "tearooms'

What is your native tongue? Your mother tongue and proficiency levels are not filled out on your profile page.
May you please...sounds awkward or stilted.
Can you please...?. or Would you please...? Could you please...? Will you please...sound correct, at least, at conversational level.
Apart from the other meanings of the modal verb will (possibility, ability, intention and etc), it expresses a polite request n the given sentence, while may has meanings that express possibility, permission, supposition...but not request :D .
I'm not sure that I agree 100% with that statement. May I...?, though, usually seeking persmission is still making a request (for permission). Kind of a oxymoron.
