¡Hola todo el mundo!

Yo todavía aprendiendo el español. In one of the lessons, the video mentioned "A mí me gustan los fines de semana". What is the " A mí "? What does it mean? What is the difference between "A mí me gustan los fines de semana" and "Me gustan los fines de semana"...?

Gracias smile

In English it would be something akin to saying:

As for myself, I like weekends. As for myself is not necessary to the sentence but emphasizes that it is your liking (as opposed to a someone else's liking)

"Mí" is the indirect object referenced by the indirect object pronoun "me". It is not necessary to put "a mí" in this sentence, but it can be added for emphasis.
