You were asking for me?
In Spanish how do you say 'You were asking for me?' or 'You wanted me?' in a business sense. Is there any difference to ¿Tú me quieres?. I am wary that this may have more to do with a boyfriend / girlfriend situation and do not wish to worry my female colleague, merely converse with her a little more in Spanish! Are there any other ways to ask this question?
Many thanks

I guess that you could say, "me llamaste" or "me necesitaste" meaning you were calling me or you needed me. I think that if you use querer, it would sound a little bit awkward. I am not 100% sure if you could say "me pediste", which means you were asking for me, so I would just use one of the first two. ![]()
