Pretérito endings?
I'm teaching my self the formation of these and i want to know if they are right. If you could help that would be greatly appreciated.
This is what i found:
-AR: é, aste, ó, amos, aron
-ER: í, iste, ó, imos, ieron
-IR: í, iste, ió, imos, ieron
In my school there is no use for VOSOTROS. So that ending is not included.
Muchas Gracias!

Well, your preterite verb endings are almost completely correct except that the endings for third person singular for er and ir verbs should be ió not simply i
These are the regular verb endings for ar er and ir verbs
Verbs like tener and decir are irregular so the endings would simply be o for both ''tuvo''and decir
I noticed immediately that you did not include the vosotros endings as you said that your school had no use for them. but this is not a problem since the vosotros form with its endings is only used in Spain to the best of my knowledge (I am open to correction on this as with all my understanding) If you follow Lazarus's advice you will be able to establish a very good foundation for your knowledge of verb endings

The endings for -ER and -IR verbs are identical. So there is an error in what you posted - the third person singular ending for both -ER and -IR is -ió.
-AR: é, aste, ó, amos, aron
-ER: í, iste, ió, imos, ieron
-IR: í, iste, ió, imos, ieron
See this page for more on the preterite tense.
Where "ustedes" is systematically used instead of "vosotros", simply use the third person plural instead of the second one, i.e.
-AR: é, aste, ó, aron, aron
-ER: í, iste, ó, ieron, ieron
-IR: í, iste, ió, ieron, ieron
The same thing happens with "usted": you use the third person singular instead of the second one.
