No he escucho nada de el examen de nivel ni los cursos de verano. Tiene informacion para mi?

I haven't heard anything about the level test or the summer courses, do you have information for me?

(I haven't been around here much because I lost access to the internet at home.)

Your sentence:

I haven't heard anything about the level test or the summer courses, do you have information for me?

Rabbit, I would say this:

= No he oido nada acerca de la pueba de nivel ni los cursos de verano. ¿Tiene Ud información para mí? ( o del exámen de nivel)

I hope this helps wink smile grin

Corregid mi español, por favor grin

much better - 0074b507, Jun 22, 2011
but I think Spainsh is like English in that when the sentence is negative you use nor; not or. No he oído ni....ni..... He oído o .....o..... - 0074b507, Jun 22, 2011
Why did you change back from he oído....better than escuchado...have listened to? - 0074b507, Jun 22, 2011
very nice feliz, no he tenido noticias, this is it - 00494d19, Jun 22, 2011
Muchas gracias Heiidita Y Quentin :) - FELIZ77, Jun 22, 2011
Q from what I could tell from my Spanish Oxford dictionary while both can be used in thsi context Oir is more common and would mean heard rather than listened to - FELIZ77, Jun 22, 2011

Preface: I am a beginner, but since you have no other answers yet -

No he escuchado nada del examen de nivel, ni los cursos de verano, ¿tiene información para mí?

Rabbitwho:

felizz77 gave good options. But I would like to tell you that your version is good too, save some bits of it.

let's see:

"No he escuchado nada del examen de nivel ni de los cursos de verano. Tiene información para mí?

I haven't heard anything about the level test or the summer courses, do you have information for me?"

in your Spanish version you used "ni" but in your English one you used "or", be consistent with what you want to say... smile

Can this be said in English?

I haven't heard anything about the level test nor the summer courses, do you have information for me? (using just one nor without neither?)

Yes but in English it's okay to use nor or or here, but in Spanish it's not... as far as I know? - rabbitwho, Jun 25, 2011
