"de la" is feminine for "of the", "del" is masculine and combines de el for "of the". "al" is a combination of "a el" and means "to/at the".

de la means "of the" or "from the" in the feminine form or gender. del is the combination of de + el. It means "of the" or "from the" in the masculine form or gender. And al is a combination of a + el. It means "to the" in the masculine form or gender.
