I am trying to express that, 'I wish money would come from somewhere for travel, but I don't know where this money is going to come from.' Do I say, 'Espero que venga mucho plata para viajar, pero no se de donde lo vendra.' or is it la instead of lo? Muchisima gracias.

This page explains when to use the present subjunctive and when to use the imperfect subjunctive.

Plata is feminine so it would be mucha and the direct object would be la.

I think it would be something like:

Deseo que el dinero viniera de algo para viajar, pero no sé de donde va a venir.
