My Example:
Cuando era jóven y estaba viviendo con mis padres, mi hermanastro tenía un hámster. Un día, el hámster se escapó, y estaba suelto en casa. Nunca lo encontramos.
When I was young, and I was living with my parents, my step-brother had a hamster. One day, the hamster escaped, and was loose in the house. We were never able to find that hamster.
