International spanish language tests?

International spanish language tests?

I have a bucket list of things I want to do in my life, and I've taken the habit of assigning myself concrete goals, to be able to say where I stand, and when I have achieved something.

One goal I'm chasing after is - you guessed it - learning spanish. smile Is there an internationally recognized spanish level test that I could aim for? Or a test required for citizenship in a spanish-speaking country?

Hi, I see this post is pretty old, but I have the same interest as marikka. Has anyone gone ahead and taken a level test? Which one? I would love to hear your experience.
