La pizarra de citas

Question

So I was sitting in a bar last night drinking a few beers and waiting for my friend to get off of a work. The bar has a board of quotations, which I call "la pizarra de citas"(not sure about this), and I was trying to translate them into Spanish. I just wanted to see if someone could give me some feedback about the following translations:

"Give me a woman who loves beer and I will conquer the world"- Kaiser Wilhelm "Dame una mujer a quien le encanta cerveza y conquistaré el mundo"

"When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading" - Henry Youngman "Cuando leí acerca de los males de beber, dejé de leer"

"A woman drove me to drink and I didn't even have the decency to thank her" - W.C. Fields "Una mujer se me volvió a tomar y yo ni siquiera tenía la decencia de darle a ella las gracias"

Your first two quotes look OK to me (although you should say "la cerveza").

The last quote, "volverse a tomar" means to go back to drinking. I would say:

Una mujer me inició a tomar/beber y ni siquiera tuve la decencia de agradecérselo.
