I hope you don't mind my edit - I added in inverted questions mark so we know for sure that the phrase is a question. - SonrisaDelSol, Jun 20, 2011

If I was asking, "Are you from Canada?", I would say:

¿Es usted de Canadá?

So if I was going to ask, "Are you suffering from stress?", I would say:

¿Está usted sufriendo de estrés?

Or, just:

¿Está sufriendo de estrés?

Unless you really want to say, "Are YOU suffering from stress?".

Or talking to a friend:

¿Estás sufriendo de estrés?

¿Usted está or está usted... It's ok.

I would use "usted está" if I was telling you that you were suffering from stress.

But again, only for emphasis:

No estoy sufriendo de estrés, pero usted está!

I'm not suffering from stress, but YOU are!

From my knowledge, I'd use "Usted está..."

Quick question for you: Did you put question marks in the phrase because you were asking which one is correct? Or did you put them in because the phrase is actually a question?

A common dilemma in many of the questions asked. - 0074b507, Jun 20, 2011
Maybe that is why it says "confused"? - 0074b507, Jun 20, 2011
I add the question marks because the phrase is actually a question. - kclu787, Jun 20, 2011
Thanks for clarifying :D - SonrisaDelSol, Jun 20, 2011
If I was reading a brochure stating "Usted está..." would make me think as you were letting me know, vs. using "Está usted" i would automatically recognize it as a question. I am translating for a demographic that has a high % of low literacy - kclu787, Jun 20, 2011
so I want to make sure I used the correct translation - kclu787, Jun 20, 2011
