The "listen" feature doesn't work in the translator. It would happen occasionaly, but it has been days now. My sound is working, the sound during the lessons works fine too. Help! I love and use this feature much.

Hmm...it worked for me.

Try restarting your computer, and try again.

Let me know how it goes! Best of luck!

Thanks much for your answer. I tried it and it didn't work. But, I see on the new format the sound is now working. Even though I was happier with old one - I now have the sound. Thanks again for taking the time to answe my question. - Franfer, Jun 22, 2011

I have just tested it and it work well for me although the translation was not completely accurate I posted quiero irme which should translate as I want to leave but the better of the two was translated as I want to go but it was still not a very good one.

Still, nothing wrong with the sound. The SpanishDict dictionary is more accurate than the translator in giving correct translations of words. ... and the words are spoken by native speakers. smile cheese grin

The pronounciation spoken through the translator can only be a guide at best since it is not a substitute for practising Spanish with a native through Skype, going on holiday to a Spanish Speaking country or living in one such country
