I was looking at what you earn for having a certain amount of reputation, and I noticed that at 2,000 rep (which I now have) one is able to edit the posts and questions of others.

Now, so I won't get myself in trouble, what (if any) are the rules/guidelines to using this ability? grin

Well congrats on your first 2K smile

You use this button to help people, like newbies to correct their posts, or to help any member on this site (like if the pic he posted is broken, you fix it for him )wink

Hey! I just got this, too. High five!

Basic etiquette is: Just correct any mistakes that you might see, but leave a comment on the post you edited letting them know what was wrong. I guess, just don't be obnoxious with it and use it when the mistake made might confuse someone trying to learn English/Spanish.

It's pretty cool, right? I'm so excited. smile
