Well to post, as in post on Facebook, would be "postear". Also "publicar" meaning to publish works for describing the action. Now to your question, it would generally be called "una publicación". grin

Hope that helps, and welcome to the forum amigo...

Update: Another fun thing to try, is memorize the options you need to change it back, but then change your Facebook to Spanish. You'll be suprised how quickly you can learn when you submerge yourself in the language. wink

I agree with your answer of "Publicar," but "postear" is to place a post in a hole. When used as "Publicar," it is "spanglish" and not correct Spanish - 005faa61, Jun 16, 2011
I have changed my Wii's language to Spanish, and also my GPS. It helps! - mstivers, Jun 16, 2011

I have my Facebook in Spanish and whenever it would normally be "post" in English, its "publicación". For example:

"A Bob Smith le gusta tu publicación en el muro"

"Bob Smith likes your wall post"

Lol, I just noticed your post... and yea, mine is in Spanish. It actually is hard for me to use it in English now. - DJ_Huero, Jun 16, 2011

Would puesto not work? For some reason that's the word that comes to mind for me...but that doesn't mean anything.
