Hola:

Is 'complemento circunstancial' just an umbrella term for all the other types of complements?

'cantidad' 'lugar' 'modo' 'tiempo'

In this example, 'en el piso de Juan', are there one or two complements?

Gracias,

Bonpet

A complement (notice the spelling of the word) is any word or phrase that completes the sense of a subject, an object, or a verb.

Circumstancial complements

Circumstancial complements give us a clue about time, manner and location. They are placed either at the beginning of the sentence or at the end.

circumstantial complement of time - "when"

circumstantial complement of place - "where"

circumstantial complement of manner - "why/how

I hope some of that helps smile
