Skype Chat, intermediate level: Situaciones

Question

I will host a skype chat this next Saturday:

Saturday 18th June, 11.30 PM Spain.

This chat is for speakers at an intermediate level, who can at least express themselves and hold a short and creative conversation.

Some situations will be given and the conversation will be held between two or maybe three people. You will have to come up with creative ideas. Here it is not so important to speak absolutely correctly, but to talk

No questions can be asked, you just have to come up with another way of saying for whatever you want to say.

Situations : Somebody left something on a bus and goes to the lost and found office. This person will talk with the clerk .

Another situation: You have missed your train and want a refund for the ticket....talk to the clerk.

The situations will be given by me on the chat, so I am sorry, you cannot prepare them Those who participated on our last chat, Especial cogumela, know already.

The situations for the Spanish speaking natives, will be held in English for them to practise.

Well, looks like I got shafted yet again... I was told if room opens up I could join. Looks like Sandy dropped out and Fred (who posted after me) took her spot. Nice.

Oh well. That seems to be the story of my life No worries though.... I can sense Heidita has had it in for me since the "spanglish" and "burkah" threads.

Im not interested in Skype chats anymore. Count me out! lol

Heidita, I think I am somewhere between Beginner and Intermediate level. If you will still have space, I would like to join just to see if I can cope with the Intermediate level. But give priority to those who may benefit more because they are really at that level.

Also, is that 11:30 a.m. or p.m.?

I would definitely like to participate. 11:30am in Spain would be 4:30am in Texas? Sheesh. I'll set my alarm!!

Hope there's still space!! Also, I'm not quite sure what my Spanish level would qualify as, but i feel comfortable describing it as intermediate. I think )

Heidita, Tengo una pregunta sobre el tiempo. ¿Todos en España usan solo uno tiempo? Ah.. acabo de contestar mi propia pregunta, así es. De hecho, todo de europa parece tener una zona de tiempo. ¡Que raro! Entonces, si el tiempo allá es GMT +4, y aquí es GMT-5, el tiempo del chat será 20:30 EDST (el occidental del EEUU).
