about name translation

I noticed that when we are translating English name into Spanish, there are certian changes, I wonder if there is a rule to follow. for example, what is the name Pau en español???

With first names, I´d go with Jeremias, but it´s worth noting that almost always surnames stay the same.

Si quieres decir Paul, sería Pablo. Realmente, no eran reglas que aplican a todos los nombres. Tienes que aprender cada uno.
