Does anyone know what a "certificado de vida" is? I've never heard of a "life certificate" in English so I don't want to translate it like that, and for "birth certificate" I've seen "partida / certificado / acta de nacimiento" (and not "certificado de vida"). Is it another way of saying "birth certificate" or is it some other kind of official documentation? Maybe "life certificate" does exist in English... if you've heard of it, please let me know!

If it is what I think, In Argentina it's called "certificado de supervivencia". It's a "proof of life". It's usually used to verify that someone is still alive and to keep getting your retirement and additional benefits.
I have seen this on the web before as a "Certificado de Vida y Residencia". I suppose this might be asking proof of where you are living and residing at present.
Can it also be called "fe de vida" ?
Different countries have different forms that one must use to prove that they are still living and the term used is Certificado de Vida. If you google this term you will see many examples.
