I've seen the word "moco" used in stories by Mexican author, Francisco Jímenez, as a derogatory nickname which translates roughly to "snotty-nosed brat".

- Jeremias, Jun 11, 2011

In this case, "moco" is short for "mocoso", which, as LaBurra ya dijo, is commonly used in Mexico for "snotty nosed brat".

For the fun of it, I put that sentence into Google Translate:

But, if you're a booger. Where are you going?

I guess "snotty-nosed" is right! LOL

In Perú we say "mocoso" also. It's not quite as harsh as saying "snotty nosed brat", but the meaning is similar.
