Hola, me llamo Pablo = Hello, my name is Paul grin

But, if you are asking/ meaning to ask how you say the words ''your name'' in Spanish we would say:

tu nombre = your name (Used when addressing a child/ someone younger, a.friend or a member of your family ie someone that you know well!)

su nombre = your name (Used when addressing a stranger, an employer, (your boss) or someone in authority like, a policeman)

I hope that helps grin

My name is Nicole. I heard one equivalent (Nicolasa), but one day when I was watching morning TV, I saw a dancer whose name was also Nicole smile. (In Mexico)

Yes, but how does she pronounce it? Differently than you? - 0074b507, Jun 7, 2011
It was just a little different... :) When they pronounced the "i" (Nee-col) - NikkiLR, Jun 8, 2011

Hi!

Most names won't change when translating them, but there are a few names which have a translation, so it depends on your name wink

We do translate the characters, however, We translate Arabic names, Chinese names, one's with Cyrillic characters, etc. into ones with letters of our own alphabet. - 0074b507, Jun 7, 2011
It must be intriguing to ask "What is your name?" or say "sign your name" in a custom's office. - 0074b507, Jun 7, 2011
