Did I translate it correctly??

Hi guys,

Could you, please, check my attempts to translate the text below smile

That's the orgin in English:

"I don't stay at home very often, just a few weeks a year. But keep trying smile

I know Wroclaw quite well and I'll be your guide with pleasure. I have a double bed plus can put an extra mattress on the floor, blankets, towels etc. So you don't have to bring anything with you. I don’t have a car though, so I can’t drive you around :(

I also try to host in places where I work. However the accommodation provided by hotels is very limited so don't expect luxury there wink

I don't collect any stuff so please don't bring me any gifts. If you want to express your gratitude more useful would be if you buy some supplies because my fridge isn't full too often or just simply buy me a drink smile"

Thanks for any help

Kris

Sam, "coz" is not a word but it is used. It looks like this text is from an email or something like that. He translated "coz" correctly though. :) - chileno, Jun 6, 2011

The following changes will make the text more comprehensibe to native speakers.

Si desea expresar su gratitud, más útil sería comprar algunos alimentos porque mi nevera no esta llena con mucha frecuencia o simplemente compreme una bebida (if you mean an alcoholic drink, many places use trago[the most common], some south Americans use un palito.)

Some may not agree, but some of the things said translate on a word for word, but are phrased differently in conversation. Hope this helps
