Is there a verb in Spanish "to snowboard"?

Question

I would like to say:

We skied or snowboarded during the day.

So far i have got:

Esquiamos o (we snowboarded) durante el día.

My guess is that all / most of the English verbs made from (noun+noun) compund nouns can not exist in Spanish.
