What does yo la amo mean?
Does this mean I love her because the translator just gives me I love and I know that I love would be yo amo, any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it does mean "I love her". And you don't need the 'yo', 'la amo' is perfectly acceptable.
And machine translators are poo ![]()
It means I love her/it, and nobody else does.
The yo is what's messing you up. Drop it, as it is redundant, because the "I' is understood when you say the verb.
la is the direct object. It is feminine. Since amar is generally used with people, the most logical translation would be "her".
Amo means "I love" That's why you don't need the 'yo', as the subject (I) is already included in the verb.
Since the direct object goes before the verb (opposite of English), the translation would be "I love her."
