Acabamos de volver de Costa Rica y quiero saber cómo se dice...."home away from home".
Vi en el traductor...segunda casa, ¿Hay algo mejor?
Es suficiente decir, "hogar lejos del hogar" ? ¿Hay algo más coloquial?

Well, others I have encountered, very close to your own, are:
hogar fuera del hogar
=o hogar fuera de casa
=o mi/su segundo hogar / casa
=o, finalmente, "sentirse como en casa" - more of a sentiment...
