Well I am looking for some words that are used only in Nicaragua but not by Mexicans. Or I'm looking at least for some words that are the same but used with a different meaning.

Ex: pinche in Mexican is used as worthless but in Nicaragua it is used as someone who does not like to spend money.

I'm not sure about words used only in Nicaragua but I do know that there are many words that Mexicans use that just aren't used in other countries. For example, a Mexican would probably say betabel instead of remolacha, desarmador instead of desatornillador, alberca instead of piscina. There's also a ton of Mexican slang.

I know some slang.... Jaña is slang for girlfriend where novia is formal for Spanish. Gangster is pandillero where in Spanish I think it's gánster. Hope this helps!

Hi Linda,

Welcome to the forum. As this is a language learning forum for both English and Spanish learners, it is essential to use proper spelling and grammar in your posts. Please do that for us.

Thanks!
