Does this mean fried beef steak? tongue laugh

Here in México norte ( beef country) Bistec assumes beefsteak, so if you said " bistec frito" it would be enough.

Seems like "bistec frito" would work OK. Bistec = steak. Carne - meat. Res = Cow ,animal.
