Dog, "perro" is a masculine noun but if my dog is female, do I use adjectives that are masculine or feminine? For instance, can I call her "mi perro loca" or must I say "mi perro loco"?

Just like cats:

Tengo dos gatas (female cats).

If they were black, they would be 'gatas negras'.

If your dog is small, she would be a 'perra pequeña' and if she was red, she would be a 'perra roja'. wink

but then if you say mi perra loca your technically saying "My b**** crazy" since perra means b****.

Well yes if you wish to give the pejorative connotation to the phrase-- otherwise-in Spanish it is just " my crazy "female" dog. - pacofinkler, Nov 14, 2014
