It's an inverse translation (Spa>Eng) and because I'm not an english native speaker I'm afraid some phrases might be quite literal. For this reason I'm looking for help, changing some odd/artificial constructions for usual native-likes. Thanks in advance....

I'm sorry, it wasn't too short after all
