This is very funny! Thanks for sharing.

I love the last line...

Do you ever wonder why you gave me your e-mail address in the first place?

I think we all have those people in our lives who send us every cute, funny, adorable, hysterical, informative, interesting, touching, life saving.....pieces of information they find and clog up our emails with them. The thing is, in their opinion, everything is worthy of being passed on to everyone they know! rolleyes tongue rolleye

These poor souls, one day they are actually going to send something important but 99% of their friends and families will have already automatically deleted it without even opening.

Why do banks charge a fee on 'insufficient funds' when they know there is not enough?

This is what banks were made for. To royally screw you over by charging you insane amounts, when my wife left everything was on "ACH" charge, I called the bank to stop all charges telling them I was out of money (which they already knew) but they wouldn't stop the charges. I now owe a certain bank like a grand even though they knew I couldn't pay, but still allowed the charges to go through despite me trying close my account and they wouldn't allow until those "bills" were satisfied, even though I couldn't pay them, so the bank could make a grand off me. . bill collectors are after me even though I told them to stop the charges. This is what banks are all about plain and simple. The big ones anyway, BOA, Chase, Wells Fargo, etc.. I know because I used to work for the banks, well, for a law firm that represented the banks interest.

Why does Goofy stand erect while Pluto remains on all fours?

Goofy is sentient.

Sorry had to answer a couple of these even though you probably didn't expect.

Gracias.

my goodness Jeezle are you trying to depress us? lol - this was meant to be a lighthearted thread not a remember your overdraft one, jk ja ja :) - Kiwi-Girl, May 31, 2011
Sorry but I'm still pissed off at the bank. Really ruined my trust in the idea of a entity like that "looking out for my best interests". It's a hard lesson. - jeezzle, May 31, 2011
I can tell! :( Well I hope you're on the onward and upward path and things are improving for you :) - Kiwi-Girl, May 31, 2011
well you know that courage and strength can be borne through desperation so those are sounding like pretty desperate times but with the way I see you learning Spanish I don't think you'll be there for long :) - Kiwi-Girl, May 31, 2011
You seem like a nice person. ;) - jeezzle, May 31, 2011
aw thanks :) - Kiwi-Girl, Jun 1, 2011
You are so right! I've not been in that position (thank goodness), but I've seen it happen to others and I wonder how bankers can sleep at night. Perhaps they are counting their money instead of sheep! - island_fever, Oct 1, 2012

I wondered about all that. Are we supposed to post the answer in Spanish? That question is a very lame joke. That is a great list of questions.

I put in a skylight this weekend, and my upstairs neighbors are furious.

Thanks Kiwi. If you live down under, where do I live?

Why...

  1. Can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.

  2. Are there handicap parking places in front of a skating rink.

  3. Do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

  4. Do people order double cheese burgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

  5. Do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

  6. Do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

  7. Do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.

  8. Do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

  9. Do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

  10. Do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

  11. Can a homeless combat veteran live in a cardboard box and a draft dodger live in the White House. (This was popular when Clinton was in office)

  12. Would Diet Coke (or any other name brands) be on the opposite side of the shelf than Regular Coke (or any other name brands)

  13. Do people learn to drink (illegally) before they can drive (legally).

  14. Is paying for sex illegal when prostitutes do it on the street, but not when strippers do it in a club.

  15. Is the "freedom of speech" law in effect, but still get our asses burnt by politics when we write something against them.

  16. Do we name a part of our government (CONgress) the very opposite of PROgress.

  17. Can you find two gas stations sitting two feet away from each other selling the same-priced gas.

Why are apartments called apartments, when they're all stuck together?
